3rd Street near State Highway 90

Marrero, LouisianaNov 09, 20040 Comments

At least once a month Jefferson Parish cops will sit one block off of the expressway to catch the parents dropping their kids off at St. Rosalie. 3rd street is the best route to shoot up and loop around to head downtown. They will hide to the side with their motorcycles out of view and just have the radar/laser gun. Be careful if you are dropping your kid off and coming up 3rd.

Usually patrolled by State Troopers. Often, they will park their vehicle under the elevated expressway (Hwy 90 AKA Westbank Expressway) and will enforce speeds coming down the ground level expressway on foot w/hand held radar. They will patrol both east and west bound lanes.
