The Maurice "City" police usually set up radar in the median of Highway 167, either on the North or South side of the village… vehicle is marked, but w/o lights on the top. They will stop you for 3 mph over the limit, but they usually don’t give OWI tickets (too much paperwork, and no holding cell).

There are only two cops in the village but one will stop you for anything from speeding, running the only red light in town, tint, tires,and the stop signs. Be careful.
