Up to 4 Pineville police cars work the area of the Pineville Expressway (HWY 165)southbound. They hide behind the railroad overcrossing and catch citizens as they crest the bridge. This is on-going, at least 3-4 times per week. Traffic speed is reduced approximately 1/4 – 1/2 of a mile before the trap from 60mph to 50mpg. This is a small town of 20k residents. Four police cars spending most of their time writting tickets? hmmm….
Hwy 28 East
4 lane hwy – with additional inside lane for turning – is 50 miles an hour. LA State Troopers are always patrolling or sitting at business parking lots in the area. Traffic is minimal so it is easy to creep above 50.
