The state troopers tend to hide in the trees in the median. I received a ticket for doing 89 in a 70. i deserved it though. watch around mile marker 188, they hide in mound covered turn around. if your familiar with the area you will know what i mean.

The posted speed is 25 MPH but this part of Spring Street easily accomodates 45 MPH. Motorcycle police will hide behind structures. This is not done daily. They will let drivers get used to the "comfortable" speed, then have a ticket-day with 2-4 motorcycle officers. This happens about every week or two. This is obviously not a safety issue, but rather a money-maker.
