Terry Parkway near Guardian Avenue
Crossing Belle Chasse Hwy going on Terry Parkway heading towards the bridge there is sometime a cop ticketing cars going past the 30MPH posted speed limit. He stands on the corner of Terry Parkway and Guardian Ave. waving cars on to Guardian to issue tickets. He’s there usually once a month and I notice him often since I live in the area. Sometime he is on the opposite side doing the same thing to traffic going towards Belle Chasse Hwy.
Exit ramp onto Terry Parkway at Oakwood shopping center
When exiting the Crescent City Connection bridge by way of the exit ramp onto Terry Parkway there are usually two cops about a block away with hand held speed guns. The exit speed on the ramp is listed at 40 mph but immediately at the bottom of the ramp the speed limit changes to 30 mph. Cops aren’t always there but its one of their favorite spots. 15 mph over the 30 mph will get you a $156 ticket.
Terry Parkway, near the Holmes Blvd intersection.
A 24 hour "do it yourself" car wash. They hide in one of the bays, so you can’t see them until it’s too late. (If you’re speeding).
