Washington, Louisiana Speed Traps
Interstate 49 near Mile Marker 25
It is around mile marker 25 going North. He is on the shoulder just over a small bridge. I was ticketed for 78 in a 70 m.h.p. zone. This is only time I have been pulled over for doing 78. During this trip and countless other times, I have passed traps doing 78 and not been pulled over. He is not constant with the rest of Louisiana.

Interstate I-49 near Exit Number 27
Going I-49 South towards Opelousas, you’d BETTER make sure that when you see Exit 27, you’re going 75 mph or 70 for extra insurance. By the time you get to Washington Exit, it’s too late. Ducks in a pond, fish in a barrel, any way you put it you’re screwed! They make Woodworth look like Disneyworld. TAKE CARE!
