Very Strict. Will issue citation for 5 miles over speed limit. Speed limit of 70 is strictly enforced.

Hides behind rise in roadway. Ticketed $125 for going 80 in a 70 zone. Must call in for ticket amount due. Clerk said to write on ticket to witthold adjudication … ie. no points on license… I then said that "… I guess this generates income to her city." She chuckled and said "Yeah."

Interstate 49 North near Mile Marker 27
Speed trap is near small town off the interstate and patroled by local law enforcement. Speeders ticketed for any speed over posted speed limit.

Typically patrol car is on the downhill side of the overpass with a handheld radar. Washington council sends their cars out to generate revenue; they have about 2 miles of I-49 that passes through their jurisdiction.
