State Route 136 near Old Brunswick Road

Durham, MaineFeb 01, 20080 Comments

Where the 35mph and 50mph signs overlap by 100+/-feet if you are heading South on 136 you are legally able to go 50mph but if you are heading North on 136 in this section you are legally able to go 35mph. Crazy but true. I was picked off on the Southbound side doing 45 and the Statie was going North in the 35mph section. Anyone else notice this flaw in signage??

Swamp Road near Meadow Road

Sheriff watch this road constantly due to complaints from residents. It is a great short cut to Brunswick for people driving down from Auburn. It is a little bumpy, but I could normally get to 60-70 and make good time. Lately seen alot of activity here. Luckily they have not gotten me, but have gone by several pulled over. Especially during morning and afternoon rush times.
