They lowered the speed trap from 40 to 30, Longwoods is a rural "farm and forest" road, it is wide and eventually goes to 50MPH at the Cumberland Line. If the 85th percentile was followed, this road should probably be 55. Sad, Falmouth was never a speed trap town before.
Woodville Rd (40 mph zone)
Going from Woods road, take a right onto Woodville (heading away from the school). This immediately takes you onto a straight away. Speeding is really easy on this straight, but there’s a sharp curve at the end. Local law enforcement parks in the driveways at the end of the straight on the corner, so they have an unrestricted view of all traffic coming directly at them. The black painted grilles of the police cars and white paint schemes camouflage the police vehicle with the mostly dark and snowy background (in the winter / fall), and since there’s no lights behind the vehicle the profile is hidden too. The speed limit is 40 mph, but it’s easy to go fast.
