Lincolnville, Maine Speed Traps

This is a 25 MPH speed limit where there is nothing but one small country store and a few houses next to it, so there must have been some palm greasing to get a speed limit there, and you would never think a cop with radar would be sitting there. It is definatly strictly for the purpose of making a fast buck. My fine of 185.00 for 40mph is ridiculous and highway robbery and something has to be done about this ripoff of the public.

Newly appointed cop making a name and money. Sits in front of the small variety store or the beach parking lot. Speed drops rapidly from 50 to 45 to 30 in less than a half mile down hill.People are often looking at the ocean and miss the signs.
