Old Orchard Beach, Maine Speed Traps

There are 4 places listed here,

1.) Off the 195 Spur, headed into town, as you go around the rotary (Left) A cop is usually sitting behind the Carwash to the right, Hidden.

2.) Up ahead, about a mile as you come up the road *SACO, AVE*, passing (Marcotte Motors) a cop is usually sitting to the left at the funeral home Which is not visible until you get up to it. You go from 30mph, to 25 past the school and then NAB YOU! (In Maine that’s a 150.00 ticket)

3.) About another 600feet ahead, sitting behind the sign at the police station, a cop is ALWAYS there at night. In the most obvious place.. The police station. He pins you as you come past the first cop and up to the light. My Radar goes off when they try and pin me.

4.) A cop is always sitting across the street from the Radley’s Market Plaza coming from Route 1 Saco, on the Cascade Rd into Old Orchard Beach. He Blends in with the building behind him (White). He sits there with his lights OFF and nabs you as you come around the corner from the 35mph to the 25mph.

Town police sit in turn around area at Reclaim Plains, just beyond Saco town line. If traveling east from Saco there is a deep dip in road just before area PD set up. If traveling west from Cascade Rd Rt98, there is long straight away leading up to the spot. The posted speed is 30mph.
