Lebanon St (Rt. 202) Urban line

Sanford, MaineSep 03, 20100 Comments

On 202 coming from Lebanon, you will eventually come across the more urban part of Sanford. When heading down the hill (where you can see part of the town in the distance) the speed limit will change from 55 to 40, then when you get into the neighborhood part (which is known as Lebanon street) There will be an old shack on the right where the cops sometimes sit. Just yards away from that shack it will slow WAY down to 25. After that, There is an old abandoned place on the left that says "The Showroom" in big bold letters on the building. The cops sit there often, especially in the morning and lunch hours. As long as you go reasonable speed through there (20-30) they will leave you alone because the Sanford Police have got bigger fish to fry. Be careful though!
