Madison Avenue near 35mph – 25 mph
Speed drops to 25mph from 35 mph at top of hill. Police set up trap at the foot of the hill catching cars as they crest the hill.

Waterville Road near State Route 104
Driving into Skowhegan from Fairfield on Route 104, the speed limit is 45 MPH. It drops to 25 MPH approx. 1/2 mile before hospital in Skowhegan however few autos heed the speed limit!

State Route 201
I am a log truck driver and have found the 2 mile stretch of Route 201(Madison ave) in Skowhegan is a somewhat of a speed trap from 10pm to 3am. I, other drivers never see them patroling day hours but they are out there most nights looking for speeders,drunks. They dont bother with the a light out on your rig or not using signals or other BS. They are not that bad the cops,couple guys got off with a just warning.
