Route 115 coming into Yarmouth from the North
The speed limit drops from 45-35-25 abruptly on a downhill stretch well before the built-up part of Yarmouth. Heavily patrolled at all hours.
Route 115 on northwest end of town
The worst I know of in the state. Speed is a ridiculous 25 mph (another squeaky wheel gets the grease speed limit). Should be no less than 35 mph. Very carefully monitored. This is a large source of revenue.
Talbot Road near Cousins Street
This is where they hide deep in to the trees. Almost in the ocean.
Portland Street
Cops sit right near the funeral home about half way down the street. Limit is 25 and they will get you at 30. Especially fond of catching NYA students on the way to the prestegious private school.
North Road near East Elm Street
beware for cruisers that tuck back into the parking lot of the Yarmouth Fire Station, and when they become visible, its to late. Use caution when traveling east/west. The speed limit is 25!
