Bay Dale Drive near US Highway 50

County police frequently set up in unmarked cars in or near the church parking lot. Speed limit is 35, but conditions easily warrant travel at 45. I drive it every day and have to set my cruise control. I always lead a parade of angry mororists who I wish realized I was saving them a ticket.

I’ve seen them sitting in Mariners Point in their cars clocking people AND hiding in the bushes on foot right before the Annapolis Roads Appartments enterance. I’ve also seen them mid-day, around lunchtime during the week, but mostly after 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday.

One MD state hwy patrol parked on the inside shoulder near. He was using something new, because it had the shape of a radar gun, but it did not set off my Passport 8500. Anyone know of a new device being used by the Maryland State Police?

St. Margarets Road near St. Margarets Church

Annapolis, MarylandFeb 24, 20070 Comments

Cops will sit in the St. Maragarets church cemetary driveway most often, but occasionally sit in other peoples driveways. This is the place w/all the sticks in the center of the road and signs all over the place. Speed limit is posted at 35mph, and they WILL pull you over for going 38-40 most of the time they will only warn you, but 42 and over you get a ticket.
