Arundel-on-the-Bay Road near St. Annes Day School
Starting at Hillsmere Elementary down to Bay Highlands Rd their are 5 spots I have seen AA county police sit. 1) Hillsmere Elementray parking Lot, 2)Park entrance directly across the street, 3)St Annes day School Parking lot (both entrances), 4) On the shoulder heading towards Thomas Point park (Right past Quay Harbor), and 5) On shoulder heading away from Thomas Point park (just past Bay Highlands Rd). In addition, the stretch of road that I have seen these 5 traps cannot be more than 1 mile. Posted speed limit is 35 mph, which is fair, considering that it is a mainly residential area.
State Route 50 near State Route 97
Md. State Police use median and shoulders both Eastbound and Westbound Rt 50 between Davidsonville and Annapolis at various times of day. Maybe more often in afternoon. Radar and Laser devices detected.
State Route 50 East near Rowe Boulevard
State Police sit in the left side shoulder and will shoot at on comming east traffic. Very heavy in the morning. Sometimes they are there in the afternoons.
The trick is..if your heading east bound on Route 50. As soon as you see the Fitzgerald Cadillac or Harley Davidson of Annapolis. Slow to 55 and merge as far right as possible. They will not flag a car that far over. I have witnessed this first hand.
Admiral Drive near Jennifer Road
