Baltimore City, Maryland Speed Traps

Northbound on The Alameda about 1/8 mile up on your right after crossing Loch Raven Blvd. Motorcycle cop hides his bike behind the small brick wall on the right and stands behind the wall. Speed limit is 30mpg but it’s very easy to cruise at 40mpg since it’s a long stretch. Officer will issue a ticket for 40mph and above. Officer also sets Southbound trap on random occasions.

Officers stand on the corner of Lakeside or 35th with a RADAR. Lakeside has a few bushes. Its a hill coming down towards 33rd so you don’t see them untill its too late. Before you come over the hill began to slow up. Speed limit is 25 or 30mph.

The police sent up a speed trap across from the check cashing place at the end of the Hanover Street bridge.(heading towards AA.CO)Mostly on Friday afternoon rush hour, but I have seen them there on Saturdays all day.

limit is not realistic, since this is a major route to the Putty Hill, Loch Raven and Perring Parkway shopping areas

There is always a cop sitting on the Northbound side of Falls Road, hiding midway between Cold Spring Lane and Northern Parkway, directly across from Cross Keys. People are smart and generally flash their high beams in warning, but I’ve managed to get 2 tickets in this area (40 in a 30 zone). Its a 4 lane road with nothing around.
