Wisconsin Avenue near Bradley Boulevard

Chevy Chase, MarylandJun 13, 20040 Comments

Headed N on MD 355/Wisconsin Avenue, just before the intersection of Bradley Lane/Bradley Blvd., there is a turnout to the right, like to a little access road – there is usually a Montgomery County cop on a bike with a radar gun – as usual, in the shadows – he’ll step out and pull you into the turnout – busted!

Brookville Road near Oxford Street

Chevy Chase, MarylandMay 27, 20040 Comments

Police usually like to camp out on Oxford Street. If you are going North on Brookeville, they camp right before broad branch road meets Brookville Road. On your right going north you will see a very tiny park with just a bunch of plants and a bench. They hide right over there. They usually tend to either stay in their car, hidden from your view behind a bush, or they sometimes get out of their car with radar and just watch as cars come by. They are watching over a stop sign. Make SURE you do a full stop and look both ways, the Chevy Chase police have nothing better to do than haul you in. They aren’t too nice, and rarely give any leighway.

Connecticut Avenue near Bradley Lane

Chevy Chase, MarylandMay 12, 20040 Comments

Chevy Chase police in rader-equiped cruisers wait, usually partially hidden – in the side streets off Connecticut Avenue between East-West Highway on the north and Chevy Chase Circle on the south. Don’t exceed 5mph over the posted limit.

Connecticut Avenue north and south bound between East-West Highway

Chevy Chase, MarylandAug 01, 20010 Comments

Hard to believe this one hasn’t made the list before now. One of the most over-patroled stretches of highway in Maryland. Village police force with nothing else to do. Usually trap in the "off-peak" direction during rush hours and during light traffic hours.

East-West HWY at Glengalen Rd

Chevy Chase, MarylandOct 01, 20000 Comments

The officers shoot westbound traffic on a straightaway just after the curve at the intersection of jones bridge rd. Both county officers and troopers have been seen in the late morning hours. Glengalen is a little "cut-out" with a bus stop – go easy after passing the intersection for jones bridge, the person who seems to be waiting for a bus could be waiting for you!
