Damascus, Maryland Speed Traps

SB Ridge Road just prior to the first OAK DRIVE intersection. You would be well served by slowing down when as you approach Damascus Manor Road.

There is a camera in the school zone when the speed Limit drops to 30MPH

Northbound Ridge Road (Rt. 27) near Hawkes Road. County Police sit behind the browning pool and spa electronic sign. Usually between 8 p.m – 2 a.m. on days that end is "Y", especially Fri. and Sat.

Right by Damascus High School (by the "Main" entrance). MC Police will usually be out of the car standing (in brown uniforms) by telephone pole shooting at northbound traffic.

As you pass Woodfield Elementary there is usually a blue truck hidden in the shadows opposite the school there to take pictures of speeding cars. Use cruise control to keep your speed at 30!
