Fort Washington, Maryland Speed Traps

Permanent camera mounted there. The low speed limit is in effect 24/ 7.

Both marked and unmarked PG County Police (white Impala’s) sit on Swann Creek Rd heading towards Indian Head HWY (210). They mainly sit across from the entrance from the park and ride. They radar for a few days straight, although only a few times a month (M-F). Speed limit is either 25 or 35 and they will ticket for going slightly over. They also sit around the bend when you come from the traffic circle (roundabout) where Swan Creek and Fort Washington road intersect. My radar detector went off and saved me a few times (they shoot K/ Ka band). Good Luck!
