State Route 3 North near Waugh Chapel Road
On Route 3, Northbound just after Waugh Chapel Road and before the BP/Subway Convience store. Speed limit drops from 55 to 45, and the lanes go from 3 to 2. AAco PD park on the crossroad and shoot radar south. Unfortunately, you can get a speeding ticket driving in the 55 mph zone, at the 45 mph section or road, because the radar shoots from one zone to another. You may not get a chance to adjust your speed.
State Route 3 near Route 32/ 100
Southbound Route 3, coming off the Route 100 exit and after the 32 exit, if you maintain your speed from the highway you will get a ticket for doing 65 mph, in a 45 mph zone.
State Route 3 North near State Route 175
Police sit in parking lot of businesses in the median. Trap is most heavily enforced on week-end mornings.
Gambrills Road near Kauffman’s Tavern
County Police will sit in driveway just north of Kauffman’s Tavern…he lives in the area, is there constantly.
Rt 32 East and Rt 3
Eastbound on Rt 32 (towards Annapolis from Columbia), coming downhill about a mile from exit to south Rt 3, troopers set up and shoot LASER at oncoming traffic. The beauty of this spot is that the patrol cars are blocked by large, green overhanging direction signs and you won’t see them until it’s too late. Normally one shooter and two to three chase cars. My digital pictures turned out fuzzy last time, but I’m ready for ’em now!
