Georgetown, Maryland Speed Traps

BEWARE! The speed limit drops to 25mph in this speed zone on McArthur Boulevard just before reaching Georgetown University. You will notice the speed zone by all of the white lines marked along the road – it looks like a ruler. While you are in that zone, your speed is being tracked by a photo radar – if you are speeding, you will receive a ticket in the mail with your picture. You can contest this ticket if you are NOT in the custody of your car, meaning you are not in the car and someone else is driving.
