Germantown, Maryland Speed Traps

Coming south on I-270 near Germantown there is a break in the center median…just short enough to fit a police car in between. It may appear to be on the "other side" but in fact there is a break so the officer can come across and flag you down. Post limit is 55mph, I was pulled over for doing 74mph.

Both County and State Police use median of I 270 to shoot South Bound Vehicles. Due to a gradual hilly decline and curvature in the Highway, visablity of the trap is obscured. 55 mph is strictly enforced.
