Pikesville, Maryland Speed Traps

Usually County but sometimes State Trooper cars – they have a number of hiding places between the bridge overpass above I-795 and Reisterstown Road. Posted speed is 40mph and then 30mph and that seems about right but it is easy to exceed both.

Once in a while driving down Greenspring Avenue towards the city by the old quarry, there is a Baltimore County Police officer sitting at the entrance waiting to capture peoples speeds coming over the hill. The cop was shooting instant on last time I drove by around 1AM. I have also seen a pretty big speed trap set up with 4-5 cops and 3 cars pulled over just down the street at the other entrance.
