Potomac, Maryland Speed Traps

Headed toward the Potomac Village traveling on River Road from 495 towards village past Benke nursery hidden speed trap speed limit goes down to 30 MPH. Travel slowly photo enforced right before village. Also coming from Potomac Village towards beltway before Benkes nursery.

Van parked alongside roadway usually at AM or PM rush hour but may be midday.

Traveling toward Bethesda on Bradley Blvd, just after I-495 there is a curve in the road. Police often hide on the far side of the curve in the morning. They only set traps in nice weather, usually in the late spring or summer. They sometime set traps in the evening going in the other direction on the opposite side of the I-495 overpass.

This trap is located just before you reach (or going to) the beltway near the naval basin. They’re usually sitting in the median but sometimes they’re at one of the bridges waiting for u to go under and then they get ya.
