Potomac, Maryland Speed Traps

At the bottom of the hill next to the playground, the speed limit drops to 30mph. Every once in a while there will be a cop parked with a radar detector

just past the village, going north, the cops will sit where river road narrows, accross from potomac elementary

Many many times I have seen radar set up on Esworthy, just after turning onto Esworthy from River Rd. Traveling away from River Rd, the officers sit on the right waiting to catch you. Almost impossible to spot them until it’s to late. I have only seen this speed trap set up during PM rush hour.

When going down to the intsercetion of wootton and falls road, there are cops behind the wootton high school sign tha are there between 2:20 and 5 o clock. Most of thetime during the school zones when speed fines are doubled.

The speed limit is 30mph, the cop sits on ambleside just off of Glen and shoots down toward Falls when you go flying by.
