Avon, Massachusetts Speed Traps
Central Street – Avon/Brockton Line
Coming From Brockton, Reservoir Street turns into Central Street once entering into Avon. No more than 1/10 of a mile on the right there is a paved road going up a hill (before you can turn onto South Street, also on the right). There’s a lot of brush obstructing the hill so it’s difficult to see if a cruiser is there or not. Notorious and common spot for police nailing motorists entering Avon from Brockton. The speed limit is 30 mph at this point so watch out.
at the corner of n main st and harrison blvd
there is a cruiser there every morning tucked back in a parking lot
South Street near Near DW Field Park
Right next to DW Field Park mostly in the afternoon.

End of the month quota by state troopers!!!
Paige Street
Be very careful–I travel down this road on the way to and from work everyday!! They will sit just far enough back on every side street. Sometimes they even sit a car further down the road and have a cop with a radar gun point and tell you to pull over. This happens mostly at the end of the month. But if I didn’t have a radar detector I would be pulled over at least over at least once a week! Be careful and peek thru the bushes as you by.
