The length of Belmont av. and Trapelo road into Waverly square has a posted speed of 30 MPH. Patrol cars are often parked along the side of the road, and will stop you for any speed over 30. I have been stopped twice along this stretch, but both times issued only warnings … so be curteous!

Posted 25 mph limit is unrealistically low for two wide lanes in each direction. Usually marked cruisers on either side of the road, but they may be obscured by other parked vehicles. Likely to ticket for any speed above the posted limit.
