North Quincy Street near Holbrook into Abington Crossing
Speed limit is 40mph running throught Holbrook, on North Quincy St.. the road is small, dark, full of potholes, with no sidewalks, and lots of residential buildings around. Than once into Abington, North Quincy St. becomes open, wide, and nicely paved, but Speed limit suddenly drops to 30mph.
Every unsuspecting car naturally accelerates from 35-40 (hard time driving part of street… to over 50 smooth sailing nice open st.
Police hide and wait there, and bust people ruthlessly.
Luckily a lot of motorists look out for each other at this trap, and flash their headlights.
Copeland Street near Samuel Avenue
3-4 Cars Set up across from Samuel Ave, actually on Susan Road. This is near the WB town line & Hayward Ave. Spotted numerous times over the last year. This trap is run by the traffic enforcement division and I don’t think they work past 4-5 p.m. This trap is just in time to get the working stiffs on there way home. The speedlimit drops from 40mph in WB to 30mph in Brockton. Slow Down!
Court Street and Pontiac St.
Two cars, with one officer clocking and one writing tickets.
