Brookline, Massachusetts Speed Traps
Allandale Road, before Grove Street Intersection
Traveling towards Brookline trap is on the right side, across from the cemetery. You will not see trap. Officer hides, on foot, in overgrown shrubbery. Patrol car parked off street and is hidden due to curve in road. Lidar.
Boylston St & Reservoir Rd
The lot of 850 Boylston (Rt. 9 Eastbound) has been a popular spot for cops to sit in the evenings recently.
Beacon Street near St Mary’s Street
Police are usually parked in a marked car with the trunk raised and are mostly in front of 1140 Beacon Street. They are always there after a Red Sox day game.
Beacon Street near Fairbanks Road
Police will use a marked car with the trunk raised and parked on the side of the road. They are usually outside the car standing on the curb. Also in warmer weather they will also use a motorcycle. Once you cross Fairbanks Street (flashing traffic light), slow down as you are on a slight downgrade.
Newton Street
The golf course on Newton Street. When you drive on newton Street towards the big rotary(5 exits), they are on the right at the golf course enterance/exit sitting there pependicular to the road aiming radar(90% of the time) and laser I noticed a few times already. Be carefull there, always always cops there at the beginning and towards the end of the month. Really easy place to pull you over for speeding. Its a nice open 2 lane road with a 35mph zone. I see them mostly at PM rush hour when there is a lot of traffic.
