The police usally hang out by the school early in the morning or early afternoon if your going 5 miles per hour over your going to get a ticket. They also petrol north st. often people do not no this but north street is 35 mile per hour from one end to the other even on the over pass where they set up traps frequently

I’ve dated 02 girls who, at one point or another, ended up living for a period of time in this town. On the highway and in Mattapoisett one must take extra precautions to not be pulled over by police. Though I am pulled over rarely and drive in many areas, in Mattapoisett (where I spend an inordinately small amount of driving time) I’ve been pulled over for 01. Driving 05 miles per hour over the 45 MPH speed limit outside of 495. Officer then asked me to conduct a sobriety test, though I had consumed -0- alcohol that night (I was ordered never to go to Mattapoisett ever again by the officer…–f– that guy). 02. For not stopping at a yellow light 03. For going 09 MPH over the posted limit. 04. For not stopping for a STOP sign that proved later to be non-existant (have YOU been drinking, officer?). The police definitely are out more later at night (2130 hours+), and have only pulled me over in the day for the yellow-light thing. My then-girlfriend who served coffee in a local restaraunt to most of the officers in town had a talk with them and, after realizing that I was "with" her, eventually stopped paying as much attention to my red Camaro while driving through Mattapoisett.
