Medford, Massachusetts Speed Traps

This is a one-way street in Medford square that runs behind a parking lot and a set of stores. The posted speed limit is 25, but since it there are 2 lanes of traffic rarely anyone goes 25. There are occasionally 3 squad cars waiting around the bend stopping as many as 5 cars at a time.

On the stretch going up to the last light before you get on I-93, as it starts to go uphill and to the right to the light, one cop will stand there with a radar gun while others will flag and chase you down. The speed limit on the road is 30 mph, and you’re going uphill there anyways–easy enough to slow down for the light. While they haven’t given me a ticket, they will pull you over and warn you.
