Rts 16 & 30 Crossing
At the crossing of Rt. 30 and Rt 16 there is a driveway facing the intersection where there is a cruiser just about every other day, sometimes two cruisers.
Hammond Pond Parkway near State Route 9
The posted speed limit on this road is 30, and then drops down to 25 after you cross Route 9. The officers often work in tandem and do not hesitate to pull over more than one car at once. There are also stop signs coming off of Route 9 where they pull a number of cars over for not coming to a complete stop. They are there beginning in the afternoon and staying into the evening.
Parker Street near Between Beacon and Dedham Streets
The Cruisers hide in the driveways of Parker Street and ALWAYS give a ticket. Speed limit is 30 but normal traffic does 40+.
Commonwealth Avenue near Lexington Street
At the intersection of Comm. Ave. and Lexington St., in Auburndale, at by the Mobil station there is a police cruiser that waits in the carrage lane of Comm. Ave. He’s there probably 5 nights of the week, and always pulls someone over.
Nahanton Road near Wells Avenue
Nahanton road between Dedham Street and Charles river is a twisty road with very little long-range visibility. Typical speeds are around 40+ mph, but the posted limit is 30mph, and it drops down to 25mph near Wells ave for no apparent reason. Frequently during the evening commute there is a cruiser hiding around the bend close to where the speed limit drops to 25 on the eastbound side.
