North Andover, Massachusetts Speed Traps

Marked police cars often sit in corner of parking lot across from the main building of the Country Club, waiting for speeders who come over the hill or around the curves. The speed limit varies on the road from 25 to 35, and most cars travel faster.

Between 125 North exit from 93 and Andover street, cops use Ka band and sit along the northbound shoulder catching people as they pass the light for ballardvale st. I have see the police activity only after dusk. I have also seen instances where there will be another radar trap on northbound 125 about a mile or two down the road using Ka band to catch people at the same time, going the same direction, on the same road.

During morning rush hour Sutton st from the Lawrence border to Route 125 Osgood St is one big speed trap with some mornings having multiple cruisers at different locations along the street. but mostly after the train tracks before main st. They also park themselves in the parking lot in the intersection of Charles st right at the base of the hill to catch you speeding coming down the hill.

The cruiser will park on Waverly road and catch speeders coming up or down Massachusetts Ave.
