State Route 66 near THE LEDGES
Hides in the ledges driveway or across the street in a private driveway. Area is Northampton/Westhampton town line which goes from 45mph to 25mph between the towns. Area is very well traveled and they know 99% of traffic is over unrealistic posted limit.
Westhampton Road near Loudville Road
Traveling east or west near the Northampton / Westhampton line there is a moderate turn in the road. As you come around the corner be cautious of your speed because the cops sit there waiting for unsuspecting motorists.
The posted speed is 25mph. If you get caught doing a reasonable 40mph, it’s gonna be a $100.00 ticket.
conz Street near pleasant Street
Conz Street connects to Pleasant St which brings you to the on ramp of I91 S. There is a 25 mph speed limit enforced -police parked and watching.While I understand it has a senior center
on the street, 25mph is too low and no one drives at that speed…
Interstate 91 near Exit Number 18
I-91 northbound coming out of Holyoke into Northampton, about 1.5 miles before Exit 18. Long drive between exits, coming into Northampton area, medium length uphill grade, road begins to open up with less trees as you approach the Oxbow area. Cruisers sit in the median. If you keep a sharp eye out in the median as soon as the scenery opens up as you cross a small bridge on I-91, you can typically see them sitting there with plenty of time to slow down – but you’ve got to be looking for them in the median.
