Neponset Street (coming from I95 to Rt 1) @ Hemlock Street

Norwood, MassachusettsFeb 12, 20031 Comments

Vehicle sits facing out of Hemlock and gets you traveling on Neponset about 1/2 mile before the rotary coming from I95 to Rt 1. Posted speed 30MPH, caught me (fifth car in a line) with Lidar 43MPH at 501 feet (or so it states on the citation) I’d like to believe that he "caught" the first vehicle in the line of 5 and pulled me over being the last in the line and easiest due to the traffic volume. Caught me at 12:15PM. Vehicle in the same place the next morning at 8:00AM. I have travelled this road Mon-Fri since October, this is the first time I have spotted them in this location.

Winter Street north of cemetary near Westwood town line

Norwood, MassachusettsJan 30, 20030 Comments

Monitoring officer in police car is located at Winter St. entrance of town dump on north side of cemetery. Sensor device is usually directed north towards the Westwood town line along Winter St. where the posted speed drops 10mph as you cross the Westwood/Norwood town line going into Norwood.

Neponset St/Nahatan St.

Norwood, MassachusettsOct 05, 20020 Comments

Anywhere between the Rt. 95 exit and just shy of Norwood Center, there are usually two sets of Police with Radar/Laser Guns, enforcing a strict 30 MPH limit which is posted. Very easily you are doing in excess of this speed, as you exit off Rt. 95, and the road is built to accomodate higher speed than 30.
