Seekonk, Massachusetts Speed Traps

On cross street the police have occasionally hid at the rod and gun club parking lot right over the bend. The posted speed limit is 25 miles per hour, but people often do 30-35+ over that bend (which is dangerous it is narrow) just beware they will pull you over.

When traveling Pine Street from 152 you will come up to a bend after Seekonk Self Storage, the posted speed limit is 25 but most do 35-40. Slow down before the tracks because the police like to hide in the industrial buildings right after the tracks at night time and also a little farther down in a dirt stop off the side of the road across from the Corn Field.

Aitken School in front or around the side of the school, they get people after they pass the fence coming from East Providence or coming around the bend from the North End. Posted limit 40, 20 during certain hours which is when they will sit on the road across from the school when the lights are flashing and get you for going over 20.

On prospect street they like to sit at the Wheeler School field house at night, or late afternoon and pick off the kids that drive fast, or anybody really after school hours.

When coming up Read Street from Newman Avenue the spot is right on your left. When taking Read street from Prospect Street it is after the bend across from the mansions where the posted speed is 25 but people often do 35+. They will sit on Talbot way behind the bushes and pick off people going over the speed limit.
