Arcade Avenue near The Old Grist Mill / Across from Firefly Golf Course
Around 6:30am and 7:30am , the Police Officer parks his vehicle in a private driveway – backed up to the very end of the driveway – accross from the golf course midway between Mill Road and Back Street. The police Officer stands on the sidewalk about twenty yards from his hidden vehicle among the trees to nab as many drivers as he can. Is this type of entrapment legal???
Miller Street near Hill near pond
Police park on one of the two sidestreets at the bottom of the hill. They also park on a private dirt drive on the right side of the road. There is sometimes just one, other times two or more cars. The limit down the hill is 30 and they will stop ANYTHING over 30. It is very easy to do over 30 coming down the hill.
Miller Street near Sagamore Road
Police occasionally parked on Sagamore radaring traffic coming down a hill on Miller. Sometimes they park on Sagamore, other times on the private drive on the other side of Miller. They blend in on the private drive or are hidden behind the trees on Sagamore. Limit coming down the hill is 30 but it’s not hard to reach the bottom at 40.
Ledge Road near Lancaster Street
Police park on side of either Quarry or Lancaster facing Ledge Rd to ticket vehicles coming off 114A. Speed limit for Ledge is 25 but most drivers are doing 40 or so after getting off 114A and some may be pulled over while others not. Usually enforced between 6:30AM-8:00AM to ticket drivers headed to the high school down the street.
