Interstate I-91 near Exit Number 2
Section of curves known as "Forest Park Curves", south of Springfield. 45 MPH limit, mostly enforced for trucks, due to many rollovers. They (Troopers) will also stop cars when they are bored.
Interstate route 291 near State Highway 291 east bound
Route 291 east bound during the day I usually see three or four State police cars with radar guns pulling speeding cars over… stay within 55 MPH
Dickinson Street near Beth El Temple lot
Located on the southerly end of Dickinson Street not far from the Longmeadow,MA border, Beth El Temple’s parking lot is utilized most evenings for catching unsuspecting motorists who speed up in this unpopulated area. I haven’t concluded whether the Springfield police are working or snoozing in the darkened area in which they chose to park. I do know that, this being a Jewish temple of worship, their utizlization of the lot from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday is offensive…
Longhill Street near State Route 91 North/South
They hide just to the Right of the traffic light on the side street that goes off to right where the top of the ramp to Rt 91 is.
Parker Street near Circuit City
A few side streets past circuit city on the right hand side sits an unmarked car. It was Sunday around 10 am
