Tewksbury, Massachusetts Speed Traps

Heading toward Lowell on River Road you will come to a steep hill. Well it is obvious that you have to accelerate to come up the other side. Beware the Tewskbury police sit there ever day at lunch.

133 Westbound into Lowell has a steep hill dropping from the lights at North Street down to Hood Road. TPD likes to sit in their cars on Cooney Road hidden by some trees at the bottom of the hill where the can see a good distance up the hill. Speeds are posted as 35 mph. Most traffic coasts down the hill and usually exceeds that. (Rt. 133 – Andover Street)
