West Roxbury, Massachusetts Speed Traps

Large solar powered speed camera operated by 2 police officers just after you turn the corner going south on 95 towards Great Plains exit.

Usually two cars working together. One car with radar sits in the parking lot of the Putterham Meadows Golf Club on the northbound side of W. Roxbury Parkway, second car is posted 100 yards further on at a rotary to stop the victim.

This intersection is a killer. There are always cops on that rotary during the spring/summer. Last summer I’ve seen them there at least 2-3 times per week, usually during AM-Midday.

The trap is on Spring Street in front of the VA Hospital. The cop is off his bike with radar. He does not try to hide his bike, but he picks people off that aren’t paying attention. I’ve seen him flagging over mutliple cars at a time.
