You drive off of Rt. 40 going 40 MPH and North Main Street goes down immediately to 30 MPH. The Street on the right is only around a curve. You don’t always have time to slow down. The police are always sitting right there. You really need to put your brakes on immediately to slow your speed.

Especiallaly when coming down the hill on Beaver Brook Road towards Westford. He also sits on Route 40 across from Dunkin Donuts in Westford. He also sits on North Street(by North Street Auto) toward Route 40 in Westford/Chelmsford.

South Chelmsford Road near 7th Lane

Patrol car will sit on north side of S. Chelmsford Road targeting folks leaving Westford heading towards Chelmsford. He usually sits at the entrance to the gravel pits across from the 4H Club grounds about 100 yards before the Westford/Chelmsford border. The road is posted at 30, but folks normally travel about 40 to 45mph since it is wide, smooth and sees uncongested travel.
