Weymouth, Massachusetts Speed Traps
Pine street and Oak Street which intersect
Several times a week the Weymouth Police have speed traps on Pine Street and Oak Street looking for STOP sign violations and speeders. Always drive 25 MPH on these 2 streets and always come to a complete STOP at all of the area STOP signs for a minimum of 3 seconds.
North St. just before Neck St.
The police park their cruiser off to the right, behind bushes at a curve so you can’t see him. The trap is right after Moreland Rd. A radar gun is usually used.
Intersection of Front St. and Federal St.
New 4-way STOP sign and flashing red lights due to being one of Weymouth’s most dangerous intersections. Police car tends to wait a few houses down in either direction waiting for those who do not come to a full stop.
North Street near Weymouth Heights Club
Several motorcycle police located off North St. just at bottom of hill (Commercial St.) as you approach intersection near Church St.
Liberty St next to Deluse Auto Body
This location is near the town line where the speed limit drops 10 mph and Weymouths finest is more than glad to help with town revenue inhancemnet.
Enforcement times are random and polite nonleadfoot townies usually get a warning.
