Whitman, Massachusetts Speed Traps
Police are often in the two parking lots of the train station, and have been know to hide in the parking lot of the car wash accross the street. Usually between the hours of eight pm to eleven pm. Posted speed limit is twenty-five mph, right off a thirty-five mph zone.
There is a little path that leads from the Park Ave. School down to South Ave, where the stone wall curves inward. During school hours, but more like when the high schoolers are getting out between the hours of one thirty pm to three pm, there is often a police car sitting there waiting to snipe anyone. The speed limit is thirty mph.
There almost every day, they change locations along the road. Since the road is as straight as an arrow for over a mile, it’s easy pickings, so be careful. Speed limit is posted at 40, but you can get away with 45.
Oh man its brutal in these parts. They sit and wait for people.
These two locations see the most speed enforcement. Very strict in these locations. Also the intersections of Rts. 18 and 27, 18 and 14 see a LOT of stop-light enforcement. If the light turns yellow, DON’T enter the intersection, they will nail you.
