Worcester, Massachusetts Speed Traps

Troopers sit in droves under the overpasses around this area. They take advantage of the fact that it’s a "work zone" (even at 3AM), and stand in the street to stop you. Often there will be at least 4 cruisers with 5-8 troopers.

Baxter St. joins 122 at a sharp angle heading west-bound which hides all cruisers there.

There is change is speed limit from 40 to 30 between 281 Plantation st and 273 Plantation street. The speed limit changes down the hill and people might not notice it easily but right within 200 Feet of the marked 30 MPH limit there used to be cops waiting to present you an ticket, specially during last 10 days of any month

Cars park in the entrance to Rice Road, which is a private road and entrance to Worcester Country Club golf course. Usually there after dark, and usually after gate has closed for the day. Mostly weekends. Sometimes parked in pairs. Will trap both directions. Posted speed limit is 30 mph.

This trap is usually for people going on 122 twards tatnuck square from paxton. There are usually 2 cops car sitting in the pizza packing lot OR a guy standing on the side of the road in a leather jacket with 2 motorcycles parked off the street pointing a radar gun at you, its right after a bend and this is a steep hill so people like to pick up speed, BE CAREFUL!
