State Highway 290 near Exit Number 22

Worcester, MassachusettsFeb 16, 20040 Comments

While driving down 290 west, be caruful as you approach exit 22 towards shrewsbury which is a little downhill on the highway. The cops were towing a car which had broken down and using that they were actually catching cars speeding. When you go downhill a little you tend to gain speed which they say in not tolerable and give you a ticket. They caught 7 other cars at the same time as they caught me not by chasing with a car but by actually standing in the middle of the highway holding a radar gun in their one hand and stopping with the other.

Mill Street

Worcester, MassachusettsOct 01, 20030 Comments

Mill Street is a divided road running from Webster Square at Park Ave. to Tatnuck Square and Chandler Street. The length of it is Thickly Settled so the speed limit is 30 MPH. Because it is divided it is very easy to travel the road at a much higher speed. It also has a school zone in the middle of it where the speed limit drops to 20 MPH at 7:30 am till 9:00 am and then again at 2:00 pm til 3:00 pm. It is heavily patrolled in the morning in the school zone and also in the early evening throughtout the length of the street.
