Officers park in the driveway of the Alask Baptist Church. This spot is especially effective in hiding their vehicles at night. Entering the village Westbound, the speedlimit drops from 55 to 35 MPH at a curve and masks the church. They actually tag you as you round the corner while you’re still in the process of slowing down. Eastbound, the church is on the far side of a hilltop, again masking visibility to the church entrance. It’s very easy to start speeding up because you know you’re leaving the village toward empty country road. They also occationally hide on the hilltop itself which is the location of a cemetary. This is also a good spot at night because it’s very dark and the myriad of shapes easily conceal a cruiser.
