Primarily radar based, rolling and stationary. Local Albion Police in Black Impalas with Gold Liverty. They sit in a closed gas station parking lot (next to a closed Little Caesars) North side of M-99/Michigan Ave.

The speed limit is usually 35, but can drop to 25 during school hours due to a nearby school. The road is 4 lanes wide in parts. Look for late night enforcement and school hours. Look for rolling radar particularly during school start/end times.

N. Eaton Street near Broadwell Street

Albion, MichiganApr 17, 20081 Comments

Rolling and Stationary radar. The Albion Public Safety Department hides in a dealership lot (Albion Motors) across from Felpausch Grocery. Black impalas with gold livery.

Rolling radar enforcement is also common in the whole city. Speed limit on N. Eaton is posted at 40, but the signs can be hard to see, most vehicles travel at 40-50mph. You will be pulled over for 5 mph over.

Radar usually comes from the north towards cars coming out of downtown.

Albion College students need to be particularly careful as they seem to be targeted more due to their age, nicer cars, and generally politer manners to the police.
