Allen Park, Michigan Speed Traps

There is a church located on the service drive. You will often see a squad car in the parking lot of said church watching for speeders during the morning rush hour.

Allen Park Cops love to catch speeders who figure they have the whole freeway. Especially northbound as Southfield Road becomes the freeway just before Van Born. Watch especially for the grassy knoll on the northbound side just before Oakwood.

East bound Outer Drive just past the I-94 interchange. Police sit in a small service road entrance for the Veterans Hospital on the right. Speed limit is 35 m.p.h. Traffic flow is usually 45-50 m.p.h.
