Geddes Road near East of Dixboro

Ann Arbor, MichiganMay 30, 20050 Comments

On Geddes about a half mile east of Dixboro and US-23, there is a service entrance to Radrick Farms Golf Course which sits at the bottom of a valley. The posted speed limit is 40mph, but it is very difficult to go that speed when you get to the bottom of the big hill on either side, regardless of the direction you are heading. Washtenaw County Sheriff deputies love to sit in that service entrance and nab people going in both directions, any time of day or night.

S. Main Street near E. Stadium Boulevard

Ann Arbor, MichiganMay 27, 20050 Comments

Heading north into Ann Arbor on S. Main, the road goes up a hill before descending to the intersection with E. Stadium.(This is Just south of the Stadium.) There is a clearing on the right shoulder at the bottom of the hill where the cop usually sits in a dark car. They love to do it at night so you can’t see them. The road is straight and wide in that section, and going down the hill its easy to be "speeding". In general be on the lookout around the whole Stadium area.
